Criminal Possession Of A Weapon

Simple possession of some weapons is prohibited for private ownership under all circumstances.  These include the possession of military devices such as bombs, artillery, machine guns, missiles, nuclear and chemical weapons.  Also included may be weapons that would be otherwise legal, but prohibited for persons by law or court order from possessing them.  Such individuals include persons with prior criminal convictions, those under conditions of probation or parole, and those with court-documented mental illness.  Carrying of a concealed weapon is carrying a weapon in such a manner as to be concealed from public view, whether on a person or in a vehicle and easily accessible, as distinguished from carrying “in plain sight.”
